Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut revealed PC specs

Nixxes Software has released the PC system requirements for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut ahead of its release on Steam. This information comes a month before the game’s release on May 16. Ghost of Tsushima started out as a great game on the PlayStation 4 and later received widespread recognition as one of the first hits on the PlayStation 5 with the release of a Director’s Cut in August 2021. Now Sony has announced that this final version will also be coming to PC.

Nixxes Software, the studio responsible for the PC port, has revealed the official system requirements for the game. Surprisingly, even an older GPU, like the nine-year-old Nvidia GeForce GTX 960, can run the game at 30 frames per second at 720p resolution. However, if you want 4K resolution at 60 FPS, you’ll need a more powerful GPU.

Interestingly, the game doesn’t require a very powerful CPU. Processors like the Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, which are six and five years old respectively, are good enough for 4K gaming at 1440p and 60 FPS or lower. RAM requirements range from 8GB to 16GB and may be related to the latest DDR5 RAM specifications.

Sony’s storage method for Ghost of Tsushima on PC Unlike many of today’s AAA games, Ghost of Tsushima does not require players to use an SSD (Solid State Drive). Although an SSD is recommended, it is still possible to play games from a slower HDD (hard drive). Sony’s decision to support hard drives for its PC games is noteworthy, as many developers now require SSDs for optimal performance. The move is in stark contrast to games like Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077, which made SSDs mandatory hardware years after release. The future direction of Sony’s PC gaming in this regard remains to be seen.

  1. I just bought business plan pro, but I still don’t quite understand how to estimate/compute the start-up costs for starting a business, in my case an online business at that. Is there a website that can assist me? Any suggestions? Thanks.
