Manor Lords is developed by independent creator Greg Styczeń and was originally funded by Patreon. On the wish list, Lords of the Manor beat out games like Hades 2, Black Myth: Wukong, and Hollow Knight: Silk Song.

The anticipation for Lords of the Manor has been palpable since its release in 2020, driven by a successful demo during Steam Next Fest. Ahead of the Early Access launch on April 26, players are already excited after spending time developing medieval villages, fighting bandits, and managing resources.
